Our mission is to create a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space where men can come together to chat, reflect and open up. We support men to check in on their well-being, share their experiences and gain new perspectives through honest discussion.

We are a secular, non-political group committed to reducing stigma around men's mental health by fostering connections, offering peer support and providing referral information for those who need additional help.

Space for Men is here for support and connection, but if you’re in crisis, please visit our crisis page for urgent help. You don’t have to go through it alone.

About Space for men

Space for men is a UK male mental health group helping men to improve their mental health.

What topics are covered in the Space for men meetings?

Our mens mental well-being meetings cover a range of topics including stress management, mindfulness, and self-care. Stay updated on our upcoming meetings on this page.

How can I join a Peer Support Group?

To join a Peer Support Group, simply reach out to us via the contact form to get more information and schedule your first session.

What is it like to attend a Space for men meeting?

A Space for men meeting lasts for two hours and usually includes between two to ten men sitting together in a circle.

The space is confidential and positive, where each man takes a turn to talk while the others listen without judgement. Some may need more time to open up, but everyone gets a chance to speak.

It might take a few meetings before it really starts to work, and that's okay. You don’t have to wait until you’re going through a crisis to join.

Space for men is a community of men changing the way we talk and deal with what’s happening, as it happens.

How can I volunteer for Space for men?

If you're interested in volunteering for Space for men, please contact us to learn more about current opportunities and how you can contribute to promoting mens mental well-being awareness.
